For you,
Just you…
I’d beg a carpenter
To craft
Something,
as authentic as you.
For you,
In bare feet
I’d walk many a mile
And back
With a smile.
For you I’d implore
Jupiter,
chief Roman god,
the god of light,
of the sky and weather,
To bridge
the distance
between us,
So I
can give you
all the love,
I have to give!
Just so, you know,
That you are loved!
Le grà,
Mindfully Marie xx

To put those three words together in a poem would be a challenge but you did such a great job! xo

Lovely! And your link did work. So sorry about the ping back glitches. Some bloggers copypasta their link in my comments. But this morning things seem to be better. Let’s hope that continues! 💖

Lovely poem Marie. I especially like this part:
To bridge
the distance
between us,
So I
can give you
all the love,
I have to give!

I was christened Mary but from the start was called Marie, so I got my Birth Cert changed! But seeing as I called you Nancy when we first blogged…I think we are even!

So sorry about that. It was probably very late when I wrote my comment. Or did I used my phone… It keeps changing my sentences whenever I write a French word. Happy Sunday Marie. ❤️
