Hi... failte (Irish for welcome! and pronounced fall-thhha).
I'm a newbie to blogging, here just over a year, but what a great year it has been!
I've turned the corner to 50 recently and two things become more relevant...time and experiences!
Material possessions are less important! Using time wisely and truly experiencing each day holds a new significance for me!
Much love,
Marie x
Ooh, that lemon tartlet looks delicious Marie! It seems we’re all have that innate desire to create, in some form or fashion, whether it’s as you do with words, or cooking, or art, or any other creative ventures. I guess that’s just the way we were created.😊 Hope you’re doing well sweet friend! Hugs!
Terri, I can confirm that they were awesome creations! I’m sure you’ll agree there is great satisfaction in creating, even if only one person gets some pleasure from our efforts! I’m trying to take every opportunity for self care, no matter how small as my mother has been seriously ill in hospital and it involves more demands on my limited energy. Hope you are planning your next adventure that pushes the boundaries of your comfort zone just a little! Warm hugs Terri!
Thanks Jennifer, I’d ask nothing finer than sharing tea with you, reflecting on life and enjoying lemon curd tartlets! Hope January has treated you well. Xx
Oh how I LOVE to create. Creating puts us into Bliss. And it makes us glow, radiating our True Self to all who do see. As for that tart …. my stomach is rumbling …… LOL
I think sometimes simple is best Shelley, as for the tarts, they were simply the best…but not recommended if there is a bikini on the horizon in a few weeks!!

Sadly that’s so true… a lovely idea Kate and no one deserves a care package more…I wonder how well those tartlets would survive the travel?
