I think I lost my appetite when WordPress stopped their Daily Prompt but now I feel my appetite returning thanks to Dee’s Daily Prompt at Thriving not Surviving! I’m looking forward to savouring some new words and satisfying my appetite!
Le grà, (with love)
Marie xx
Can anybody tell me, in plain english, how to ‘pingback’ to a post? Have I done it correctly by putting a link to the post as above?

Yes Marie you’ve done the pingback correctly. It got me there … Dee is part of a team that post these prompts, I dropped out. This is the direct link to the site where the prompts come from Word of the Day Challenge … oh my pingback didn’t work but you can type that into the search on your reader.

So fun that you found a prompt to play along with. You did it right too. Pingbacks are a WordPress thing – here is the help desk post about it. https://en.support.wordpress.com/comments/pingbacks/

I use to join in with Words Word of a day challenge too. Not daily, but I didn’t most times and when I realised there were no more updates, I was kind of sad. I have read nothing to see if they have stopped for a short time, or completely. But for how long it’s not been updated, I guess it’s stopped.
