My wish for you today… is that you, like me, find the greatest adventures in the simple things, like having a car picnic or watching the wind scattering leaves like confetti, across your lawn!
In what simple things do you find the greatest adventure?
Hi... failte (Irish for welcome! and pronounced fall-thhha).
I'm a newbie to blogging, here just over a year, but what a great year it has been!
I've turned the corner to 50 recently and two things become more relevant...time and experiences!
Material possessions are less important! Using time wisely and truly experiencing each day holds a new significance for me!
Much love,
Marie x
I love this Marie! My simple joy right now is seeing βourβ herd of deer come up to eat acorns that have dropped from the trees. We see them behind our back fence every day, and often see them right outside our front window at night. Wishing you many more simple pleasures! Hugs!
Thank you Terri I’m glad you love it! Thank you for sharing your simple and beautiful pleasure, how special being able to see ‘your’ deer so close up and enjoying tasty acorns! Hugs back!
So true Maranda…I think we often look past the simple things for bigger and better when all along we had the best pleasures at our fingertips! Thank you for reading and sharing your thoughts!
Thanks Shelley, for popping in and sharing your thoughts too. We can get caught up in the ‘show’ of big events and adventures…particularly if we’re led by social media platforms like fb but there is something special in observing the unobserved!

Living life… for life contains the simple things as well as the complicated… all one needs to do is take the time to look, and smell the roses… π

It is funny, we seem to always look so far for happiness, when really it is often found in simple things we take for granted.
