Big red Christmas Candle. An Irish Christmas tradition.
You are very welcome to Christmas Eve… in our house.
Every Christmas Eve we follow tradition and light a big red candle in our window. We do this to light the way for the arrival of baby Jesus, strangers or the poor and to let them know that we understand their struggles and that our door is open to them!
Whether you value religious beliefs or not, and whether your faith makes you Catholic, Protestant, Baptist, Muslim, Jewish, Buddhist or any other…
I believe it is the concern we show for the welfare and happiness of others that is the real magic of Christmas!
Don’t hold back…shine your light!
Warm Irish Christmas blessings to you all!
Thank you for visiting and I would love to hear your thoughts!
Much love,
Marie
